Kinda Like The Buffalo
This is about a lot of old men I’ve known all rolled into one. You’ve probably met him.
Here By The Grace Of God
This song was also recorded by Greg Hester and was on his latest CD “American Recordings”.
Perhaps you can relate.
Wherever She Goes
I wrote this song a couple of years ago while living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We made the video to raise money and awareness for a couple of animal rescue shelters in San Miguel. The song somehow found it’s way onto Talent Hound’s top 20 Dog Songs. So my name is listed up there with Elvis, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, Nellie McKay and a lot more. That’s pretty good company and I’m loving it.
Family Farmer Blues
When I was working for the Organic Consumers Association I used this song for a video we put out showing many of the disturbing facts about the plight of family farmers and the rise of factory farms and the unhealthy ways our food is being produced. At least it’s a funky little Western Swing tune.
All is Well
I wrote this one a long time ago and my good friend Greg Hester made a great recording of it at the famous Capricorn Studios in Macon, GA.
He had some great players and it’s a fun recording.
A guy I met one time could only talk about how unlucky he was. He kept saying “50,000 people in the stadium and who does the bird #$&* on? #$&*s on me”.
I loved it and finally got around to writing a song about being #$&* on by a bird.
I hope you liked some of the songs. I’ll keep posting more so check back if you liked them.
